Please Note: If you have the 245mm wide or the 305mm wide Polaris fender you will need to order the new optional fender shock bracket for your hitch and fender to live together.

The SSH has a high strength rating. We highly recommend to only pull a lightweight motorcycle trailer or cargo trailer. Your true drop tongue weight should not exceed 20 lbs. and your cargo weight should not exceed 400 lbs. with a light duty MC trailer weighing UNDER 200 lbs. See Slingshot Hitch Fact Sheet and Guidelines.

Although the SSH can handle more weight in towing, it is NOT recommended to exceed 634 pounds including cargo and trailer weight and trailer drop tongue weight together. A friendly reminder for your safety — the Slingshot is very light weight (1,750 lbs), so keep this in mind when towing for your stopping power. DO NOT exceed the recommended maximum weight of 634 lbs.
