ITEM 1 — ORDER PROCESSING
Orders generally ship within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation, excluding weekends and holidays.
When shipped, the customer receives a carrier tracking number and is responsible for monitoring delivery dates, attempts and tracking updates.
ITEM 2 — ALASKA & HAWAII
Lower-48 shipping rates do not apply to Alaska or Hawaii.
Customers shipping to Alaska or Hawaii must contact Slingshot Hitch Factory BEFORE ordering. We will verify the destination and provide the additional shipping charge before the order is placed.
All additional Alaska/Hawaii shipping charges are the customer's responsibility.
ITEM 3 — ADULT SIGNATURE: ALL SHIPMENTS $200+
ALL SHIPMENTS VALUED AT $200 USD OR MORE REQUIRE AN ADULT SIGNATURE, AGE 21 OR OLDER. NO EXCEPTIONS.
This applies to ALL CUSTOMERS AND ALL DESTINATIONS, domestic and international.
The customer must monitor tracking and ensure an adult 21+ is available to sign. If a signature cannot be obtained, the carrier may reattempt delivery, hold the package when permitted, or return it to Slingshot Hitch Factory.
ITEM 4 — TRACKING & UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES
This applies to ALL domestic and international shipments.
Customers receive tracking information when an order ships and are responsible for monitoring delivery dates and attempts.
If a package is returned to Slingshot Hitch Factory after unsuccessful delivery attempts, or because it is refused, unclaimed, undeliverable, or the required signature cannot be obtained:
RETURN SHIPPING CHARGES ASSESSED TO SLINGSHOT HITCH FACTORY WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM ANY REFUND OTHERWISE DUE, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable under these circumstances, to the extent permitted by law.
If applicable return charges exceed the amount otherwise refundable, the customer remains responsible for those charges to the extent permitted by law.
Failure to monitor tracking or be available for delivery does not transfer responsibility for return shipping costs to Slingshot Hitch Factory.
CANADA SALES POLICY
Effective October 2026, Slingshot Hitch LLC is no longer accepting new orders for shipment to Canada.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
ITEM 5 — INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMER NOTICE
BEFORE ORDERING, READ ITEMS 5–14.
International orders require identity, residential-address and customs verification.
ALL REQUIREMENTS MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE SHIPPING. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE TO COMPLETE A SALE.
If you cannot comply, please do not place an international order.
ITEM 6 — VERIFIED RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS ONLY
AFTER CLEARING CUSTOMS IN YOUR COUNTRY, the shipment must be delivered directly to the verified recipient's residential home address in the destination country.
International orders will NOT be shipped to U.S. border pickup locations, UPS Stores or similar pickup locations, mail-forwarding services, freight forwarders, hotels, businesses, P.O. boxes, third-party addresses, another person's residence, temporary pickup locations, or a U.S. address used to transport merchandise into another country.
The recipient's residential address must match the approved shipping information.
NO EXCEPTIONS.
ITEM 7 — GOVERNMENT PHOTO ID
International recipients must provide a clear copy/photo of a valid government-issued photo ID before shipment.
The ID must verify the recipient's identity. If an address appears on the ID, it must correspond with the residential shipping address. The recipient's name must match the order.
The order will not ship until verification is completed.
ITEM 8 — PROOF OF RESIDENCE
The recipient must also provide a recent utility bill or bank statement showing the same name and residential delivery address.
The document must show the name, address, issuer and date.
Account numbers, balances, transactions and other unnecessary sensitive information may be blacked out.
ITEM 9 — CUSTOMS BROKER / BORDER AGENT
Before shipment, the recipient must provide required customs broker information, including when applicable: broker/company name, contact name, phone, email and account/reference information.
If UPS, FedEx or another carrier acts as broker, the recipient must cooperate and provide information required for customs clearance.
The order will not ship until required customs information is provided.
ITEM 10 — DUTIES, TAXES, CUSTOMS & BROKERAGE FEES
THE SHIPPING CHARGE PAID TO SLINGSHOT HITCH FACTORY COVERS TRANSPORTATION ONLY.
OVER AND ABOVE THE SHIPPING COST, THE RECIPIENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL DUTIES, TAXES, TARIFFS, CUSTOMS CHARGES, CUSTOMS BROKER/BORDER AGENT FEES, BROKERAGE FEES AND OTHER IMPORT COSTS.
This includes applicable VAT/GST, customs-clearance, processing, handling, inspection, storage, disbursement and similar government, carrier or brokerage charges.
THESE CHARGES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRODUCT PRICE OR SHIPPING COST. SLINGSHOT HITCH FACTORY DOES NOT PAY OR REIMBURSE THESE CHARGES.
If such charges are billed to Slingshot Hitch Factory because the recipient fails or refuses to pay them, the recipient remains responsible for those costs to the extent permitted by law.
ITEM 11 — INTERNATIONAL VERIFICATION
Slingshot Hitch Factory may verify identity, residential address, payment, shipping, customs and broker information and request additional documentation when reasonably necessary.
IF REQUIRED INFORMATION CANNOT BE PROVIDED OR VERIFIED, THE ORDER WILL NOT SHIP AND MAY BE CANCELED.
ITEM 12 — FEDEX INTERNATIONAL
When FedEx is used, the recipient may be required to provide a FedEx account number or other required information and is responsible for required customs-clearance information and charges.
ITEM 13 — UPS INTERNATIONAL
UPS may act as customs broker, or another qualified broker may be used when permitted.
Duties, taxes, tariffs, customs-clearance fees, brokerage fees and other import charges remain the recipient's responsibility.
ITEM 14 — REFUSED/UNDELIVERABLE INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS
If an international shipment is refused, unclaimed, undeliverable, rejected by customs or returned because the recipient fails to provide required information, payment, signature or customs cooperation, the recipient is responsible for resulting costs to the extent permitted by law.
These may include original shipping, return shipping, duties, taxes, customs, brokerage/border agent, storage and carrier charges.
Such charges may be deducted from any refund otherwise due, to the extent permitted by law.
REFUSING DELIVERY DOES NOT ELIMINATE RESPONSIBILITY FOR COSTS ALREADY INCURRED.
ITEM 15 — SHIPPING DAMAGE
Report visible shipping damage within 48 hours of delivery. Keep the original container and packaging and photograph the package, shipping label, packaging and damaged merchandise for any carrier claim.
ITEM 16 — CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
Customers must provide accurate ordering, shipping, contact and customs information.
False, incomplete, misleading or unverifiable information may delay or cancel an order.

ITEM 18 — CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGMENT & AGREEMENT
BY PLACING AN ORDER WITH SLINGSHOT HITCH FACTORY, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO ALL APPLICABLE TERMS OF THIS SHIPPING POLICY.
This includes applicable shipping charges, Alaska/Hawaii charges, 21+ adult signature for shipments valued at $200 USD or more, tracking and delivery responsibilities, return shipping charges and, for international orders, identity/address verification, customs requirements, duties, taxes, tariffs, customs broker/border agent fees and other import charges.
PLACING AN ORDER CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THE SHIPPING POLICY IN EFFECT AT THE TIME THE ORDER IS PLACED.
