Limited 90-Day Warranty and Return Policy

Limited 90-Day Warranty

Slingshot Hitch, LLC (“Seller”) warrants to the original purchaser that its product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for ninety (90) days from the date of purchase when used under normal conditions and for its intended purpose. The warranty period begins on the original purchase date, not the date of installation. Delayed installation does not extend or restart the ninety (90)-day warranty period.

To submit a warranty claim, the customer must provide a written description of the issue and clear photographs showing the claimed defect. Claims should be sent to : info@slingshothitchfactory.com and must include proof of purchase.

This warranty is void to the extent any defect or damage results from unauthorized modifications, alterations, repairs, misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, improper installation, or use with unapproved accessories or parts.

Pre-Installation Inspection Notice Installation of the product does not by itself void the Limited Warranty. However, damage or failure caused or contributed to by improper installation, unauthorized modification, incorrect hardware, improper torque, failure to follow installation instructions, or other installation-related error is not covered.

Installation Responsibility: Slingshot Hitch, LLC does not install, supervise, inspect, or control customer installations or installations performed by third parties. The purchaser is solely responsible for ensuring that the product is properly installed in accordance with all instructions, specifications, torque requirements, and safety procedures provided by Slingshot Hitch, LLC.

NO IMPACT WRENCHES PERMITTED: The use of impact wrenches or impact drivers to tighten mounting hardware is strictly prohibited. All bolts must be tightened using a properly calibrated torque wrench to Slingshot Hitch, LLC's specified torque values. Damage or failure caused by improper tightening or use of impact tools is NOT covered under warranty.

Do-it-yourself installation or installation by a mechanic, dealer, repair facility, or other third party is performed at the purchaser's own risk and expense. Slingshot Hitch, LLC makes no representation or warranty regarding the workmanship, qualifications, or installation practices of any person or business not specifically authorized in writing by Slingshot Hitch, LLC.

Slingshot Hitch, LLC is not responsible for product failure, hardware failure, vehicle damage, trailer damage, towing expenses, labor charges, loss of use, or other damage or expense to the extent caused by or resulting from improper installation, incorrect assembly, improper alignment, improper or excessive torque, insufficient torque, loose or improperly secured hardware, unauthorized drilling or modification, substituted hardware, failure to follow installation instructions, or installation by the purchaser or any third party that does not conform to Seller's written installation requirements.

If mounting holes or components do not properly align during installation, do not force, drill, enlarge, bend, grind, modify, or use the mounting hardware to pull components into alignment. STOP installation and contact Slingshot Hitch, LLC for assistance before proceeding.

The purchaser is responsible for inspecting all mounting hardware and connections before towing and for ensuring that all fasteners are installed and tightened to the specifications provided by Slingshot Hitch, LLC. If any movement, looseness, unusual noise, vibration, or other abnormal condition is observed, discontinue towing immediately and inspect the installation before further use.

Evidence of improper installation, unauthorized modification, substituted hardware, failure to follow installation instructions, or failure to maintain properly secured mounting hardware may void warranty coverage to the extent such condition caused or contributed to the claimed defect or damage.

This warranty does not cover labor, installation, removal, reinstallation, or transportation costs.

Towing and Safety

Customers must follow the instructions and limits set forth in the Slingshot Hitch owner’s manual and installation guide. The Slingshot vehicle is light in weight, approximately 1,750 pounds, and towing must not exceed the limits specified by the vehicle manufacturer or owner’s manual.

Warranty Remedy

If a claim is approved after inspection, Seller may, at its sole discretion, repair the product, provide a replacement, or issue a credit. Any replacement or credit will not exceed the original invoice purchase price or MSRP, whichever is lower.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

Return Policy

If a return request is approved, the item must be returned at the customer’s expense for either store credit or refund, as determined by Slingshot Hitch, LLC.

 Items must be inspected for damage or defects before installation. Installed products cannot be returned or exchanged, as installation is considered acceptance of the item in satisfactory condition. A 20% restocking fee may be deducted from the original purchase price.

Return requests must be submitted in writing. All returns must be postmarked within 3 business days of proof of delivery date and must be new, unused, unmodified, and returned in original condition with all labels, stickers, and parts included.

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Items must be securely packaged before being shipped back. While original packaging is preferred, if it is no longer available, a comparable sturdy box with appropriate cushioning materials may be used. All return shipments must be fully insured for the value of the item. Slingshot Hitch, LLC is not responsible for damage or loss that occurs during return shipping.

Once the returned item is received and inspected, please allow 3–7 business days for processing of any approved refund or store credit.

Additional Terms

Slingshot Hitch, LLC reserves the right to update or modify this Warranty and Return Policy at any time without prior notice.

The hitch ball shown in product photos is not included. Wiring harnesses and other accessories are sold separately.
